Sioe Nefyn Show 2023

Nefyn is a small town on the Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd, North Wales.

The area has a strong agricultural tradition but now relies heavily on tourism. While Welsh is still spoken by the majority of locals, the community is slowly being eroded as young people are having to leave to find work. The problem for local people is made worse as properties in the area are being bought as holiday lets or second homes forcing the prices higher.

The show represented by these images was held on 1st May 2023.

It is hoped that they relay the feeling I had of this small agricultural show.
